MIND YOUR BUSINESS

📖

“Don’t stare at me because I am dark— the sun has darkened my skin. My brothers were angry with me; they forced me to care for their vineyards, so I couldn’t care for myself—my own vineyard.” ‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🤔

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I remember some mothers in our younger days who trained children of relatives who came to live with them to be whole men and women while pampering their own. Many of the pampered children ended up being men and women who could not stand the storms of life.

🤔

No matter how much you do to watch or judge, the calling of others while ignoring your own, you will not find fulfilment. Some people are called to be cleaners but instead of doing that with the whole of their abilities, they become the judges of their superiors and leave their cleaning or do it haphazardly until they are sacked. Whereas a cleaner who remains faithful and committed to his calling is promoted and favoured by all and is fulfilled.

🤔

Are you minding your business or leaving it and minding things that don’t concern you? Give a thought to your life today because the judge and rewarder of everything and everyone is watching and will reward everyone in His own time.

🛐

I pray that you will find contentment and dignity in whatever your calling is so that you will not be found wanting at the time of judgement.

  1. Thank you for this message. Yes, many stray from their calling for various reasons. I recall the parable of the Unprofitable servant in Matthew chapter 25. I believe it applies to this message. We will give account of our calling at the Judgment. May we not be condemned by the mercies of GOD.
